REFUND AND CANCELLATION POLICY

voice of Africa adventures cancellation policy applies to the package offered, upon payment of deposit and confirmation of reservation. Cancellation of booking or failure to join a tour will result in a retention of funds by Voice of Africa as described below:

  • Upon written receipt of cancellation by any member of the tour indicated on this reservation, 30 days or longer prior to departure, 20% of the reservation of the canceling party will be retained by Voice of Africa adventures and the balance of the package price refunded.
  • If cancellation is received at least 14 days and up to 29 days prior to departure, 50% of the package price will be retained by Voice of Africa adventures.
  • If a cancellation is received less than 14 days prior to departure, 100% of the total package price will be retained by Voice of Africa adventures and all outstanding payment will become payable immediately.
  • Should the canceling party be able to find a replacement for themselves no later than 14 days prior to departure, and the replacement completes this booking form individually, no retention of funds will take place.  However, should no replacement be found by 14 days prior to departure, a 100% cancellation penalty will apply to the canceling party.
  • Voice of Africa adventures and its agents reserve the right to terminate, at the discretion and with immediate effect, the participation of any person on the tour.

If we Cancel

The Company reserves the right to cancel any tour at its sole and absolute discretion, without prior notification in instances where this is unavoidable. However, in that case, the Company agrees to refund all money paid by the client. This shall be the Company´s sole responsibility to the client and no claim for any damages, howsoever arising, shall accrue against the company.

Refund processing fee:

  • While processing a refund, a 3% credit card fee is charged to the clients Visa, or Master card.
  • When a refund is processed using a Bank wire payment, bank charges apply.

Change of Dates

You are free to change the dates of your tour at any point in time. While rescheduling, applicable cancellation charges, and any new charges will apply. Additional charges, if any, will be informed by the Company to you before the rescheduling is done. In case the booking is canceled after rescheduling the original tour date will be used to calculate any refunds.

2. Booking Procedures

We will create a tailor made holiday to suit your personal needs. A binding contract comes into existence between us when:

· We receive a deposit of 30% of the quote price, or

· When we receive full payment of the holiday when the booking is made less than 30 days before your departure date.

No contract will exist between the parties until such monies have been received. We require full payment to be made for your holiday 30 days prior to the departure date.

3.Payment Terms

Tour packages are confirmed upon receipt of 30% deposit of the total cost of the package. Balance payable in full 30 days prior to arrival. Full payment is required if tour is booked less than 30 days.

4.Money Matters

Visa and  MasterCard  are widely accepted in Tanzania, but note that American Express and Diners club are not accepted. In certain places, cash will be the only acceptable method of payment. Travelers  should not rely on traveler’s cheques as these are not accepted in Tanzania

The US dollar is always the best currency to carry and its important that the bank notes you bring have been printed after the year 2006, as older notes are often not accepted.
